Chemical properties
Melamine presents alkalescence, can react with various acidums to generate melamine salt. In strong acid or strong alkali liquor, melamine will hydrolyze---amido group will be slowly replaced by hydroxyl, thus generate ammeline, Cyanuric Acid and Ammelide.
